+ Applicant must be attending post-secondary education at a university, college or technical college
+ Applicant must be a Minnesota resident
+ Applicant’s family must receive at least one service from Arvig: internet, television, phone and/or security.

Foundation for Rural Service (FRS) Scholarship

Award amount: $2,500

Eligibility requirements:

+ Applicant must be a graduating high school senior
+ Applicant must be sponsored by a current NTCA—The Rural Broadband Association Member (Arvig)
+ Applicant must be accepted by an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school
+ Have at least a C grade point average (GPA)
+ Express an interest to return to a rural community following graduation

Royale B. and Eleanor M. Arvig Memorial Scholarship

Award amount: $3,000

Eligibility requirements:

+ Applicant must be a graduating high school senior from one of the 36 school districts served by Arvig: Bertha-Hewitt, New York Mills, Perham, Nevis, Twin Valley, Walker-Hackensack- Akeley, Waubun, Ulen-Hitterdal, Henning, Battle Lake, Detroit Lakes, Wadena, Staples, Hawley, Mahnomen, White Earth, Osakis, Parkers Prairie, Bigfork, Park Rapids, Cass Lake, Grand Meadow, Melrose, Sauk Centre, Eden Valley-Watkins, Kimball, Rocori, Long Prairie/Grey Eagle, Redwood Falls, Wabasso, Morgan, Frazee, Lake Park/Audubon, Ada-Burop, Dilworth/Felton/Glyndon, and Pelican Rapids.
+ Applicant must use the award to further their education in the field of math, engineering, telecommunications, accounting, computer science or any of the physical sciences at the college, university or vocational school of their choice.
+ Have at least a C grade point average (GPA)
