Lifeline is a federal program dedicated to making internet and phone service more affordable for low-income households. This benefit provides eligible consumers with a monthly discount of up to $9.25.

FCC Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP)

Eligible households will receive a monthly discount of the cost of broadband internet service. Existing Arvig customers who receive Lifeline automatically qualify for this program. Click here for more information and to apply.

Arvig Internet Education Assistance Program

Provides residential customers with a monthly discount of up to $10 off the internet plan of their choice. This program may be combined with other assistance programs. Click here for more information and to apply.

Minnesota Telephone Assistance Plan

The Minnesota Telephone Assistance Plan (TAP) program is a state-funded monthly $10 discount on landline telephone service for qualified residents. Click here to apply. Mail the completed TAP application and proof of income or program participation to:
