Construction Methods
Underground Construction
We can accommodate either a direct burial method, by means of vibratory or static plows, as well as open trenching. With this being the predominant mode of construction these days, ACS has placed thousands of miles of underground copper, fiber, coax, electric, gas, water and sewer lines. We work on individual projects smaller than 1000 ft. and in excess
of 100 miles of underground plant.
Aerial Construction
While the majority of the work we perform is underground, we do have an aerial crew, capable of building a turn-key copper, cable or coaxial system.
Directional Boring
ACS currently has 8 dedicated directional boring crews capable of boring a single water line into a house, or completing a 1500 ft. bore to a cabin on an island, to a 10" sewer line placed under a sidewalk.
